each other’s eyes
we’re an octopus
that has gone too far tonight
its mornin’ and the curtains
are drawn open

the cool breeze and
the neighbors
teenage children
are tick-tocking us
what the fuck
grandma’s pearls
the milky way on the floor
somebodies children
bangin’ at the door
what the fuck

my skin’s is rubbin’ off

Only to be reminded

ceramic tile your wife
made you laid.
